Alessandra Arias

Alessandra Arias is an associate attorney at IZ Legal.

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Alessandra’s goal has always been to help prevent injustices and ensure everyone’s rights are protected at all times. With this vision in mind, Alessandra pursued a career in the law.

During her time in law school, Alessandra interned and worked in the criminal defense field, confirming her passion in the legal field. As a member of the Criminal Law Society and the STU College of Law Trial Team, she honed her skills as a litigator. She was also the president of the Hispanic American Law Student Association. Alessandra received her Juris Doctor with Honors from St. Thomas University College of Law, along with a Criminal Litigation certificate.

Upon becoming an attorney, Alessandra returned to the Miami Dade Public Defender’s Office as an Assistant Public Defender for Miami-Dade County where she handled a wide variety of cases, including misdemeanors and felonies. Alessandra strives to always provide client centered representation while getting the best possible outcome for her clients.
